PHC BioPak

Compete Plus
PHC’s Compete Plus is a dry, dispersible rhizosphere inoculant that contains spores of beneficial bacteria, actinomycetes and Trichoderma fungi. Yuccah Liquid Concentrate
Yuccah is a performance-enhanced natural wetting agent/soil penetrant is derived from the Yucca schidigera, a unique desert plant that produces natural surfactants to help it use water more efficiently. These surfactant compounds help improve the spreadability and soaking effect of water, even in very dry, water resistant soils. Terra-Sorb Seedcoat Gel
Terra-Sorb® Seedcoat Gel is a dry, natural, superabsorbent polymer mixed with graphite to coat seeds before planting. This ultra-fine coating absorbs water when wet, which forces the shell of the seed to open improving germination and water availability.
Moisture absorbing particles in Terra-Sorb® Seedcoat Gel expand as they draw moisture from the soil water or humid air near the seed. In expanding, they form a gel water reservoir at the seed surface. Moisture held by the gel softens seed tissues, while promoting rapid germination. Simply mix Terra-Sorb® Seedcoat Gel dry with seed at the rate of one pound per hundred pounds of seed. Because Terra-Sorb® Seedcoat Gel contains graphite, it lubricates planting machinery and maximizes efficiency of seeding.

TerraPam
TerraPam is a polyacrylamide tackifier used to ensure effective hydroseeding by binding together the various components of the hydromulch. It provides easier pumping, superior soil control, and better water penetration creating a moist environment for seed germination. Unlike guar gum tackifiers that require high application rates and can be rapidly broken down by soil microbes, TerraPam is effective at much lower rates (about 16 times lower) and lasts 5 to 6 weeks before eventually being broken down by sunlight. TerraPam is not dusty, will not clog your equipment, and is compatible with fiber or paper mulches, biofertilizers, inoculants and surfactants.

BioPam
This product is a combination tackifier/inoculant for superior hydroseeding. BioPam binds together the various components of hydromulch forming a crust that improves water penetration and retention, protects seeds from the sun and maintains cool soil temperature. Pond Saver
Pond Saver is a concentrated microbial product containing a minimum
of 1 billion CFU's (colony forming units) per gram of a proprietary
blend of bacteria that quickly biodegrade the nutrients, organic matter
and hydrocarbons in water that contribute to sludge, clouding and
foul odors. The bacteria in Pond Saver are naturally-occurring strains
that have NOT been genetically engineered. These bacteria were
selected for their natural ability to quickly clean and deodorize nutrient-
rich waters. Pond Saver is a natural, biodegradable product and is
nontoxic to plants, humans or animals, including fish.
Key product benefits of Pond Saver:
- Improves water clarity and quality
- Reduces sludge and organic sediment buildup
- Controls sulfur odors
For best results:
- Water temperature must exceed 55° F
- Product works best when pH of water is between 5 and 9
- Aeration dramatically increases product effectiveness and may be required in still or stagnant waters. Good aeration methods include bubblers, waterfalls or fountains
- Do not use chemical treatments while using Pond Saver because the bacteria may be killed by the chemicals. (Pond colorants are usually safe for simultaneous use)
- Chlorinated water inhibits bacterial growth if chlorine concentration is high enough. Tap water usually acceptable
- Pond water treated with Pond Saver is safe for irrigation of plants
- In areas having no winter season, apply the initial dose every 6 months
- UV light treatments and ozone treatments will kill the bacteria in
Pond Saver.
